Headway Corporate Resources Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

(Raleigh, NC) June 5, 2007 — Headway Corporate Resources, a full-service human resources solutions company that provides recruiting, staffing and HR support services to a range of business sectors, today announced appointment of David S. Meyercord as Chief Operating Officer. In the new role, Meyercord will provide leadership, coordination, management, and vision to effectively streamline and grow the organization’s operations.

Previously, he held the role of President of Irwin Shared Services, a unit of Irwin Financial, the 130-year-old bank with $6B in assets. Meyercord managed operational restructuring of technology, HR services and procurement functions for four lines of business located throughout the U.S. and Canada. Meyercord was also Senior Vice President, Investments at Irwin Ventures, where he was responsible for the Venture Capital portfolio. He was also responsible for Strategy and Corporate Development for Irwin Financial. Prior, Meyercord was Field Project Director for the Pan American Development Foundation in Haiti, and a Community Development Specialist for the United States Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic.  

Meyercord’s undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University was followed by an MA from the University of Florida and an MBA from University of Virginia.
